About Wadi Rum

Wadi Rum or Valley of the moon, the name of the most incredible desert you are up to discover, classed at UNESCO, Wadi Rum has a lot to offer: mountains, rocks, variety sands of color, history and of course to meet the bedouin community.

Located in southern Jordan, the entrance to the desert is approximately 70 km from the city of Aqaba where the country's second airport is located.

The Wadi Rum desert was formed millions of years ago, revealing over time a very rich and diverse geology.

Nomadic civilizations and tribes passed through the desert and even left traces for some, notably the Nabataeans who reigned about 500 years, they moved and traded all along the Arabian Peninsula.
